In the mid-80s, LT Pete ""Maverick"" Mitchell and LTJG Nick ""Goose"" Bradshaw are an unstoppable team flying their F14 Tomcat, landing a slot at the prestigious United States Navy Fighter Weapons School more popularly known as Top Gun. Over thirty years later, Gooses son LT Bradley ""Rooster"" Bradshaw follows in his fathers footsteps after graduating from Top Gun, while flying his own F18 Hornet.
