Hy Vandenberg autographed index card -
Hy Vandenberg had one of the more distinctive signatures among major leaguers with his looping script.  He spent time with three clubs over seven seasons, making his debut with the Red Sox and spending four years with the Giants.  After a three-year layoff, he returned to the bigs with the Chicago Cubs and pitched in three games in the '45 World Series and tossing six shutout innings.  His career mark was 15-10 in 90 games,
